As a BD Partner your focus would be procuring contracts with businesses and government agencies looking to fill open IT or Medical positions within their organizations. You will be conducting cold calls throughout the day with the objective of reaching (a decision maker) within the HR or procurement department. The tasks include cold calls, follow up emails and any other means in reaching the end goal. Guidelines and scripts will be issued for your personal customization and use as necessary. The draw for this job is that there is no cookie-cutter method to conduct business, each individual has the freedom to work with their own unique process. The objective is to create business by whatever means are successful.

 

We are seeking a contractor who is:

  • Extroverted, confident and capable of producing results.
  • Relentless in the pursuit of business.
  • Experienced in sales (desired but not required for the position)
  • Willing to put in at least 4-6 hours a day
  • Disciplined enough to work in a virtual environment

 

Business development partners will:

  • Be required to perform progress-based tracking activity using SharePoint and Highrise HQ CRM
  • Actively participate in the business development cycle from prospecting to contract/registration.
  • Proactively respond to and interact with strategic targeted commercial and government entities with the goal of procuring vendor registrations and/or staffing agreements.
  • Upon finalization of staffing or consulting agreement, the partner is expected to continue inquiring for new openings within said companies.

 

Business Development Partners will achieve these goals by processing semi-developed leads through direct interaction and online activities including but not limited to:

  1. Internet research
  2. Making direct cold calls
  3. Completing vendor registrations
  4. Communicating via email or social media
  5. Establishing and participating in conference calls.

 

As a partner, you will be evaluated and compensated based on a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) system factoring; calls made, productive conversations had, vendor registrations completed, progress tracking compliance and staffing agreements signed.

  1. How are business developer partners (BD) compensated?

Business development partners are compensated for all verifiable front-end sales activities on a monthly basis and share in the net profit of all revenue received from work/services/products delivered on staffing agreements and vendor accounts that BD established.

 

  1. What is front-end compensation?

Front-end compensation is payment for calls (contacts and conversations with non-decision makers or non-POCs, voicemails), conversations with essential POCs or decision makers, and signed staffing agreement or approved corporate vendor accounts established.

 

  1. What is back-end compensation?

Back-end compensation is a share of net profit of all revenue received from work/services/products delivered on staffing agreements and vendor accounts that BD established.

 

  1. How is back-end compensation calculated?

Profit sharing percentage for the BD will be between 5% to 40% of the net profit.  Net profit is calculated from Gross profit less 15% GA (General and Administrative Expenses).

For example, net profit from gross profit of $50,000 less 15% GA ($7,500) is $42,500. If BD’s profit-sharing percentage is 35%, their back-end compensation from this deal is $14,875 (35% of $42,500)

  1. How long will I receive back-end compensation?

BD will receive back-end compensation on monthly basis while contracted by Leneer for the lifetime of the deal.

Looking at the deal in the previous question, the BD will receive $14,875 every month until the deal is no longer active or until BD leaves or terminates contract with Leneer.

 

  1. How is the BD’s profit-sharing percentage determined?

 The BD partner’s profit-sharing percentage is determined by the BD’s level of participation in closing the deal and commitment to maintaining the customer on an ongoing basis.

When am I paid?

Front-end Compensation

Your front-end compensation is paid on a monthly basis. You will submit a monthly invoice detailing your sales activity (number of calls, conversations, staffing agreements signed, and vendor accounts approved. The invoice will be paid within 30 days after submission and approval.

Back-end Compensation

Your back-end compensation will be paid 72 hours after payment of invoice sent to your customer/client for services/work/products delivered.

  1. Will I be given leads or companies to call?

 Yes, we will provide you with leads and/or companies. In some cases, you’ll be required to research to find the POC or decision maker to contact.

However, you are not limited to the leads that we give to you. If you have leads, companies, contacts, or relationship that Leneer can provide services/work/products to, then you are encouraged to reach out to them.

 

  1. Am I an employee of Leneer?

No, you are an independent contractor.
