Privacy Reviewer
Contract Position
Montvale, NJ or Tysons Corner, VA
** MUST HAVE A JURIS DOCTORATE (JD) BE ABLE TO REPORT TO CLIENT SITE IN NORTHERN NEW JERSEY *** (or Tysons Corner, VA)
(This role has now turned into either Montvale, NJ or Tysons Corner, VA location (onsite 3/days week – rest would be remote)
This position reports to the Chief Privacy Officer with an area of focus on our client’s privacy framework across the global network.
Responsibilities:
• Assess and document privacy findings and requirements after gathering relevant information from IT project teams
• Provide advice, risk assessment, and recommendations regarding privacy controls for projects throughout an asset’s life cycle
• Creating formalized reports pertaining to privacy findings
• Communicate regularly with project leads, project teams and representatives from various business teams, including escalating any matters that require additional analysis to senior team members
Skills
• Four years of professional work experience in the field of Privacy, Data Protection or Risk Management; Preferably for a Global Organization
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Demonstrated knowledge related to privacy issues with regards to evolving technology (e.g., mobile, cloud, global hosting, etc.)
• Experience of performing assurance activities (e.g. compliance reviews, audits) around privacy controls (e.g. technical, organizational, procedural).
• Professional privacy qualifications such as CIPP
• Ability to manage multiple processes and projects at once
• Able to provide support outside of standard working hours
• Possess a valid passport for possible travel outside of the United States
